Red Recruitment is recruiting a Customer Care Officer in Bristol to join a leading UK company. Previous customer service experience is required, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career.

Benefits and Package for an Customer Care Officer:

• Salary: �12.18 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities of an Customer Care Officer:

• To resolve enquiries from customers who wish to apply or renew their garden waste subscription either by telephone or face to face
• Obtain information to process requests using script based forms, update computer records as appropriate and to provide advice on all aspects of the waste and recycling service area
• To log service request relating to Environmental Services, such as Pest Control, Noise Nuisance, Pollution, Licensing etc
• The ability to use tact and diplomacy to resolve enquiries. This involves the ability to communicate effectively and express complex and technical concepts and procedures in ways that are understandable
• Ensuring that the work is undertaken in accordance with legislation, council policy and the operational service plan of the section

Key Skills and Experience of an Customer Care Officer:

• You can demonstrate suitable skills and experience which are relevant in a customer service environment
• Ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure
• You will have the appropriate skills to undertake financial transactions, such as taking payments
• Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate with people of all levels is required
• You have a good working knowledge of office based IT systems, including Microsoft office, CRM, document management and in house systems
• You can demonstrate what sources of information you have used to answer and resolve customer enquiries
