We are looking for an experienced Transport administrator for a permanent position within a factory environment for a growing organisation in based in Birmingham. The role is to be a key role within the transport department organising and coordinating the drivers primarily.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Organising day to day transport for customer deliveries and building strong relationships with couriers.
  • You will also be required to answer telephone calls, which will include customer enquiries, to progress customer orders, arrange transport requests and to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Purchase Order Processing.
  • Management of transport daily, weekly and monthly
  • Updating all information onto the system
  • Call handling.
  • KPI presenting and monitoring.
  • Assisting with any customer service, H&S and sales administration.
  • Filing.

About you?

  • Experience in scheduling and management of drivers
  • Customer Service and Transport Administration
  • Comfortable in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Keen to learn
  • Ability to work towards KPI's and targets
  • Competent in relevant IT packages especially Excel
  • Ability to learn internal systems
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Driving Licence

The Role

  • Salary �24,000 - �27,000
  • Monday to Friday 8 - 5 (Paid break 10.00 - 10.30) & (Lunch 13.00 - 14.00)
