We are looking for a Customer Account Manager (CAM) to join our EMEA Loyalty team to make an outstanding contribution to the growth of our Mid Market and Emerging Business regional sales capability.You'll up-sell and cross-sell Avalara's complete range of Tax Technology & e-invoicing solutions and services, to our customers in the EMEA region. As part of our dynamic commercial team, you will collaborate with our Customer Success Team to gain intimate knowledge of our customers business and deliver an outstanding customer experience.Reporting to one of the CAM Regional Leaders, you'll join us in a hybrid role, with our EMEA Head Office conveniently located near Brighton Railway Station. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and grow professional relationship and network with users at all levels, up to the executive levelBuild lead generation campaigns and use networking opportunities and technologies to increase sales with existing ecommerce, retail, software projects requiring tax or cross-border compliance solutionsManage a pipeline of cross-sell and upsell opportunities within a set of existing accounts and achieve/exceed monthly booking goalsProvide sales forecasts and risk analysis using SalesforceDeliver engaging sales presentations and webinarsEthically negotiate contracts, pricing, and service fees to create a win-win scenario for all parties involvedCollaborate with a Customer Success Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and retention QualificationsExperience in an existing business, quota-carrying sales role4+ years' experience in B2B selling of managed services, SaaS software or VAT related services, preferably to tax, finance, IT or business owners at a senior levelExperience being held to and motivated by metricsExperience establishing communication and engagement with customers, while coordinating efforts, sharing information, and addressing any internal issues or concerns related to the accountsTerritory and account planning disciplineExperience balancing multiple sales opportunitiesCurious and comfortable in a dynamic work settingA desire to advance a career in software and technology salesSpecialised knowledge of the retail, software, logistics, finance, accounting, or tax industries would be a distinct advantageA relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceSolid knowledge of desktop productivity tools and experience using CRM systems (e.g. salesforce.com)#LI-Hybrid#LI-ML1 About AvalaraAbout Avalara:We’re building cloud-based tax compliance solutions to handle every transaction in the world.
