If this is how you like to work then please read on.Purpose of the role:Support the CRM agenda within marketing at Iceland, continually optimising and evolving our CRM communications to drive online transactions and benefit the broader marketing objective of driving multi-channel transactions through increased loyalty and Lifetime value of customersPerform day to day email delivery activities including, but not limited to, email campaign development, testing, scheduling, deployment and monitoring of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic email campaigns.Campaign activity focused on, but not limited to, Trade, cross sell and upsell communicationCoordinate with Trade Managers and design resources to procure creative assets.Coordinate with wider marketing and Trade teams to develop campaigns and share resultsManage relationship with UX and design team to share learning and drive engaging contentApply knowledge of multiple aspects of email marketing including dynamic program implementation, A/B testing, and general industry trends and metrics.Apply knowledge of best practice ecommerceSkills:Ideally experience in creating CRM communicationsExperience with A/B testingHands on experience of building and deploying campaigns in a marketing cloud platform ideally email/SMS/Push notificationsKnowledge of CRM best practices and benchmarksRetail industry preferred although not essentialYou need to be results driven and commercially awareYou need to be able to juggle multiple tasks, can work to a plan and work in a fast pace, reactive environmentExperience:You need to have excellent attention to detailAn excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skillsAgile and responsive to trading requirementsComfortable with working under pressureSpecialist skills and knowledge:Strong understanding of CRM cross sell/upsell techniques – essentialStrong understanding of campaign implementation - essentialMarketing automation tool experience - preferredSalesforce – Exact Target/Marketing Cloud experience – preferredMake a difference to your career, we expect a lot but you’ll get a lot back in return.
