Job Description
What you’ll do
We’re looking for an organised and analytical minded CRM and Data Lead to join our busy Marketing & Client Development department. You will be a critical member of the team in this leading role in collecting, storing and using data across the firm. You will analyse data and draw insights that inform our decision making, direct our strategy and ultimately make us more successful.
You will be an ambassador for our Client Relationship Management system, proactively working with partners and lawyers, showing the benefits of using the system and giving valuable outputs that help the Firm engage with clients and generate new workstreams. You’ll own and maintain the CRM system taking responsibility for compliantly storing and segmenting contact data and using that information to help us improve the way we market and sell to clients, targets and referrers.
Working closely with the CRM users and IT, you will ensure the CRM delivers what the Firm needs including training best practice, looking at how we collect and segment our data to ensure our communications are targeted and relevant and drawing out insights, statistics and dashboards to support and inform our business teams.
You will help to create mailing lists and ensure sign ups receive relevant and targeted information. You will also be tasked with looking at the wider data sources available internally and externally to help inform what we do including, helping to analyse financial data to inform business planning and supporting the Client Engagement & Development Manager with the design, delivery and analysis of client reviews and post matter feedback activities.
Who you are
You will ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience in a data role within a marketing or sales environment. Working with previous CRM system, you will have the ability to collect, store and analyse data; and understand what this data can do to help drive business success in a marketing and sales context. You will have a strong research and analytical ability alongside a client focused approach whereby you can build positive rapport and connections throughout the Firm and with our stakeholders.
Using your knowledge of being able to manipulate data in excel or PowerBI you will have an understanding of how to interpret these results for the business. Having an understanding of Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools will be an advantage to this role but is not a necessary requirement.
It is important you are someone who relishes any opportunity to take the initiative to drive projects forward, utilising excellent organisation skills along the way. You’ll also be comfortable working to tight deadlines, whilst being committed to attaining high standards in all of your work. An ability to always act professionally, ethically and with an absolute commitment to protecting client confidentiality and data.
