The purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Enterprise & Credit Risk maintain an effective end-to-end Credit Risk Oversight function for GB Bank. This is a hands-on role for someone with a thorough understanding of all aspects of credit risk for the propositions we offer. you will find yourself:
Developing and continuously improving the credit risk analytics including the choice of internal / external data, analytical tool, production of dashboards / outputs Ongoing development of the Bank’s credit risk appetite capabilities (limits, monitoring, etc.) Monitoring lending book performance against established Risk Appetite KPIs Development of Credit Committee reporting / MI suite Supporting credit risk reporting to Exco, Risk Co and Board Providing oversight of credit risk aspects of regulatory reports / returns Managing and building internal relationships with key functions within the business Supporting stress testing & other analysis within the ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan & SWDP Preparation of data and analytics as per the Bank’s Credit Risk Roadmap
Skills and experience – you are/will have most of the following:
A drive to provide quality output as part of a high-performing team Have the ability to meet deadlines and understand changing priorities throughout the month Experience of working within a regulated financial services environment A qualification in an analytical / numerical field An analytical thought process, with excellent quantitative analysis skills Strong analytical skills & a curious mind (familiarity with Power BI is a prerequisite) The ability to draw conclusions based on analytic results, and present complex concepts and results in a way tailored to the audience Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Enjoy working collaboratively and are a clear communicator

What else do I need to know?
Location:
You will predominately work from home but will be required to travel to our offices when your role requires this. Salary:
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum Hours:
