Credit Manager

Location: Stratford

Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home

Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 Per annum

In2 consult have partnered with a rapidly growing organisation looking to drive improvment within their credit function. Currently they have a team of 9 and looking to expand by the end of the year, the ideal candidate will be experienced in hiring and the management of a similar sized team, with proven ability to reduce debt.

• Support and inspire team of 9 to achieve targets inline with function objectives
• Assessing creditworthiness of potential customers
• Setting credit limits and payment terms
• Monitoring overdue accounts and following up on outstanding payments
• Negotiating payment plans with customers
• Producing regular reports on credit control performance
• One to ones with staff for appraisals 
• Set, monitor and ensure KPIs for the team

• Proven experience as a Credit Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of credit management principles
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficiency in credit assessment tools and software 
• Excel proficientcy
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit reports
• Ability to develop and implement credit control policies
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
