Page Personnel are currently partnering with a market leading construction business, based in Holywell, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the cash flow, ensuring that debts are paid promptly and reducing company risk.

Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers
  • Performing credit checks on potential clients
  • Cash allocation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Negotiating payment plans with clients who have outstanding debts
  • Processing and reconciling payments and expenditures
  • Resolving billing issues and resolving queries
  • Working closely with other departments to maximise cashflow and implement credit policies and procedures
  • Preparing reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Assisting in the preparation of the company's financial statements

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiating and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
