Credit Controller

Page Personnel are currently partnering with a leading hospitality business, based in Chester, who are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for minimising aged debt.

Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

• Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payments of debts.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and client issues.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Cash allocation
• Bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure credit procedures are followed.
• Ensure customer credit records are up to date.
• Provide customer service and support.
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to achieve objectives.
• Contribute to the overall smooth running of the company's financial operations.

Profile

The successful Credit Controller should have:

• A proven track record within a similar role
• A strong understanding of credit control procedures.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Good customer service and negotiation skills.
• A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial software and databases.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
