About Our Client New position in Horsham seeking an experienced Credit Controller with an Immediate Start!
Job DescriptionAssess and monitor credit risk for new and existing customers.Establish and maintain credit limits in accordance with company policies.Proactively contact customers with overdue payments to secure timely payment.Develop and implement strategies to minimise aged receivables.Negotiate and agree on payment plans when necessary.Review and issue invoices in a timely manner.Ensure accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare and distribute regular customer statements.Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payments.Provide excellent customer service to enhance overall customer satisfaction.Generate and analyse reports on the status of outstanding debts.Provide regular updates to management on credit control performance.Assist in preparing financial reports related to credit and collections. The Successful ApplicantProven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of credit control principles and practices.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.May be working towards an Accountancy Degree What's on Offer Credit Controller£25k-£28kHoliday EntitlementPensionHybrid Working
