This not for profit membership organisation is the governing body of Freemasonry in England, Wales, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Districts overseas.Job Description· To reconcile sales ledger balances to cash receiptsThe responsibilities of the Credit Controller are below;· Ensure balances are collected in a timely manner and allocated correctly· Provide an excellent member/client experience when dealing with outstanding balances due· Maintain accurate and timely receivable records· Regularly review and report on aged debtors as part of the month end process· Propose debt provisions/write offs where applicable· Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries/disputes· Input to, and enforce, the organisation's bad debt policy· Input to the regular cash flow forecasting process· Become an integral member of the finance team with a thorough understanding of the nature of all of the team's roles.· Identify opportunities for continuous process improvementThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Credit Controller will have;· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Calm and confident manner· Financial literacy and the ability to understand, interpret and communicate management information.· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships· Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and accounting software· Demonstrable experience of working within a credit control team· A curious mind with the confidence and initiative to bring new ideas to the table· High attention to detailWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary plus the following benefits package:BUPA private medical coverPension (3.5% employee & 9% employer contributions - increasing to 12%)Free Life AssuranceHoliday (25 days increasing to 30 days)Interest free season ticket loanGym membership (subsidised)Employee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible workingThis website has app functionality.
