Job DescriptionCredit control of outstanding debts and following up on current debtsEvaluate creditworthiness of potential customersMonitor payment agreements to ensure they are up to dateCoordinate with the accounting & finance department to reconcile accountsWeekly invoices and checking of purchase orders and timesheetsResolve billing and customer credit issuesPrepare reports detailing aged debt conditions and cash flowCreate credit reports for new customersAssist in setting and monitoring credit limitsParticipate in team meetings and continuous professional development activitiesPayroll administration for over 500 operatives per week The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Controller should have:A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProficiency in MS Office and accounting softwareStrong understanding of accounting principlesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work as part of a team What's on OfferA competitive salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annumA collaborative and supportive company cultureOpportunities for professional growth within the industrial/manufacturing industryThis role is permanent and 5 days in the officeWe encourage all candidates who believe they could thrive as a Credit Controller in this vibrant company to apply.
