Credit Controller Nottingham(Hybrid - 3 days in office)£27,000Company BackgroundA financial services business who has experienced exponential growth is now looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full-time permanent basis.The roleThis role will include:Build effective supplier and partner relationships to ensure timely payment.Allocating payments to financial systems and accounts as a credit controllerMitigate cash exposure and help to manage payments to external partnersSpot trends and risks and escalate to management as a credit controllerManage stakeholders and raise concerns over non-paymentsCash collection via telephone as a credit controllerInvestigate queries and proactively chase late payments from suppliers.Develop and maintain records to track debt effectively and efficientlyContinuously improve our debt collection processes and reduce outstanding debt as a credit controllerAny other ad-hoc duties as required by the businessResponsible for achieving and exceeding cash collection targetsThe candidateThe perfect candidate for the Credit Controller will have the following skills:At least 1+ years credit control experience in a similar fast paced businessAbility to work well under pressureComplete and thorough understanding of end-to- end credit control processesHighly numerate, with the ability to process financial data quickly and with a strong attention to detailBenefitsThe benefits of the Credit Controller include:£27,000 per annum23 days holiday plus bank holidays - Increases for long serviceCritical illness payDiscounts on used carsHybrid work pattern - 2 days work from home
