Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a Credit Controller for a temporary position based in Marden, Kent. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in credit control. This role is crucial for maintaining
the financial health of our client by ensuring timely payments and managing debt recovery.Day to day of the Credit Controller role:
Manage and oversee the entire credit control process, including the setting of credit limits, payment terms, and debt collection policies.Pro-actively contact clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment and resolve any disputes related to credit control.Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO and maximise cash flow.Produce regular reports on credit control activity and performance for senior management. Credit Controller Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in credit control with a track record of successfully managing accounts receivable.Strong understanding of credit control procedures and relevant legal requirements.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
