Credit Controller

�30,000 to �35,000 per annum, Permanent, Mon to Fri : 08:30 to 17:00pm, BS32 Bradley Stoke - Bristol, Hybrid working, Pension, Holiday, Pension, Parking plus more

A large manufacturing business who are actively seeking a credit controller to join their team. Established for over 35 years with a long standing, outstanding reputation, this will see you working for a team orientated business where you would carrying out duties such as:

  • Updating, reviewing and ensuring accurate collection of client data using SAP
  • Maintaining direct contact with customer base by phone and email
  • Credit assessments, setting credit limits and payment terms for all customers
  • Assisting the Corporate Finance team in the implementing credit management policies
  • Building relationships with customers to avoid disputes and resolve issues
  • Sending customer statements, reminder letters and claim letter
  • Identify cases were legal action may be required and undertaking legal action where necessary
  • Providing support to third parties, external consultants and internal departments
  • Improvement of departmental procedures, striving to maximise efficiency

The successful credit controller will have a need to hold :

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to analyse financial information and make informed decisions regarding credit limits and payment terms
  • Microsoft Excel to intermediate level with vlookups proficiency
  • SAP experienced
  • ISO standards
  • Proficient in data entry and using accounting software

This would be the ideal role for someone who has worked as or within accounts assistant, credit controller or accounts receivable.

Working within this credit control role will see you working within a multi national organisation managing a client base of over 180 clients. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
