Credit Controller
Cantello Tayler Recruitment is recruiting for a Credit Controller to join an organisation based in Chertsey. This is a full-time permanent role, fully office based, and the ideal candidate must be a driver due to location.
The Credit Controller duties will include:
Key duties:
- Chasing payment of overdue accounts via phone, email, and letter.
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Reconciling the Trust bank account
- Dealing with queries both internally and externally to ensure smooth & timely resolution.
- Allocating self-bill payments and using the managed service portals.
- Opening and setting up new accounts
- Maintaining / updating customer details to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Reviewing ledger with the finance director to highlight any problems and agree targets and action going forward.
- Issuing legal letters and liaising with our solicitors
- Filling out supplier forms
- Ability to make detailed notes.
The successful Credit Controller with have the following skills and experience:
- Previous Credit Control/Sales Ledger experience is ideal but not essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail
- MS Office proficient
