Due to continued growth and further expansion plans, our leading Property client are seeking a Senior Credit Controller, supervisor who is looking to elevate there career to Team Leader and beyond. Working within a large accounting office, you will play a key role in all elements of credit control operations in addition to supporting with team management and leading from the front

Duties include

  • Assist the department manager in leading the Credit Controllers and Assistants to ensure operational goals.
  • Lead from the front with all day to day processes whilst supporting others
  • Understanding all elements of process and supporting with driving innovation and best practice
  • Support management with recruitment, performance management and junior staff development
  • Manage / oversee Customer communications To ensure they are dealt with in a timely
  • Help to develop a culture and processes within the team to promote "right first-time" way of working
  • Liaise with other departments within the business to drive efficiency
  • Reviewing and assisting the manager to implement changes in policy and procedures.
  • support / oversee the monitoring of all active solicitor's cases to ensure sufficient progress is made and following up if required.
  • To be able to discuss & agree Settlement decisions based on approval levels.
  • To assist the Head of Credit Control with the planning and integration of acquired developments, portfolios, businesses, or other offices within the group as the business requires.
  • Involvement with IT to support innovation and new systems implementations

Experience required

  • Proven Credit Control experience within a B2C environment
  • Previous experience of training and supervising others would be an advantage
  • Career motivated and keen to progress
  • Detail orientated and keen to understand all processes and drive innovation
  • Local to the are or ability yo commute when needed in the office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to motivate and coach others
