Credit Control / Accounts Assistant



Birmingham, B19



Office-based



�28,000 - �30,000 per year





Four Squared Recruitment are delighted to be working along side a Birmingham based organisation in order to recruit for a Credit Control/Accounts Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.





Responsibilities:




  • Rent and utility collections for a portfolio of commercial properties.

  • Reconciling rent collections to accounts software.

  • Input financial terms of Tenancy Agreements into credit control system accurately.

  • Sending of invoices, statements, and payment reminders to Tenants.

  • Sales ledger administration and reporting on cash collection.

  • Administration and filing of Tenancy documents.

  • Liaise with management team on property repairs, maintenance, non-payments, and legal proceedings.

  • Basic understanding of accounts system

  • Reconciliation of ledgers

  • Bookkeeping skills preferred but not essential



Skills and aptitudes




  • Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills to chase payment from diverse array of clients.

  • Competent on Excel and Word.

  • Understanding of debt collection

  • Well organised individual for Payment collection deadlines and general document management.

  • Ability to handle/converse with problematic clients in a diplomatic and effective manner.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand Sales ledger in detail and reconcile tenant accounts.

  • Strong desire to learn.



Schedule:




  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Free parking
