Creative Design Director / Project Director - Experiential Exhibition Design & Delivery 100% Remote

White Space Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively for a niche client who specialise in the complete design and delivery of immersive and experiential permanent exhibition spaces, and who urgently require a Creative Design Director / Project Director to deliver several Middle Eastern projects on a freelance basis, working fully remote from within the UK.
These architectural and design projects often incorporate huge amounts of technology and augmented reality that is typically found within modern museums, giant shopping centres and many other public spaces. Think Harry Potter World, or the Imperial War Museum, The Science Museum etc. - Lots of technology driven immersive and interactive experiences involving structures, sets, props, and a whole lot more.
We are seeking an experienced Creative Design Director / Project Director with a background in large exhibition design, museum design, public realm installations or theme park attraction design to lead, manage and oversee the complete design and delivery of several Middle Eastern projects often requiring complex architectural, M&E, structural, and interior fitout components within their creation.
The successful Creative Design Director / Project Director will be expected to lead, manage, advise, and pull together multi-disciplinary design, architectural and technology teams working remotely from within the UK, and occasionally travelling to the Middle East as required.
Creative Design Directors / Project Directors applying must be available immediately or at very short notice to be considered for this position.
The initial contract will be for 6 Months with potential extensions, projects depending.
