About the role

Do you possess a background in Creative Arts? Are you keen on acquiring hands-on experience working with children? We are seeking individuals with expertise in Drama, Dance, Art, Music, or Media to apply their skills and knowledge in a school setting, supporting children in their educational journey.

In the role of a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, you would play a crucial part in supporting both teachers and students. Your responsibilities would include closely engaging with pupils, fostering positive relationships, and leveraging your creative arts expertise to enhance their educational experience.

As a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, this position offers an opportunity to gain insights into working within school environments and to accumulate valuable experience for potential future roles involving children.

Here at Vision for Education we work with Primary, Secondary and SEN schools covering the whole Essex and Ipswich area.


Requirements

To be considered for the role of Creative Arts Assistant you will:



  • Have a creative arts background that you can incorporate into schools
  • Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Have/ be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS on the update service


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
