Job Title: Regional Crane Engineer



Location: Various regional locations



Salary: Circa �20 per hour



Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Description:



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Crane Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves providing maintenance, repair, and inspection services for cranes and lifting equipment across various regional locations. As a vital part of our engineering team, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients' crane fleets.



Key Responsibilities:



Maintenance and Repairs:




  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a range of crane types and lifting equipment, including Overhead Cranes, JIBs, and ship-shore cranes.

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.



Inspections and Testing:




  • Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations following inspections.



Customer Service:




  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on crane operation and maintenance.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.



Documentation and Reporting:




  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and parts inventory.

  • Utilise provided tablet/iPad for real-time reporting and communication with the office and clients.



Travel and Logistics:




  • Travel to various regional locations to perform on-site services, with travel expenses fully covered.

  • Ensure timely arrival at job sites and efficient use of travel time.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a crane engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of crane mechanics and electronics.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to crane operation and maintenance.

  • Driving License
