We are seeking a talented and experienced Crawler Crane Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining crawler cranes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various construction and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on crawler cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
thorough examinations of crane components, including the boom, hoist, and controls, to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing crane uptime.
technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
Qualifications:
of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
experience working with crawler cranes in a field service capacity.
knowledge of crawler crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
certifications or tickets related to crane maintenance and operation (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
