Job Title: Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Team

Rate: £30 per hour

Are you a skilled and experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse with a passion for working with children and adolescents? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team at the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Warwickshire as a Band 7 CPN.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Duty: Provide comprehensive and compassionate support to children and adolescents accessing our services, including crisis intervention and risk assessment.


  • Triage Referrals: Assess and prioritize referrals to ensure timely access to appropriate interventions and support.


  • Assessments: Conduct thorough mental health assessments, formulate tailored care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.


  • Managerial Duties: Provide leadership and supervision to Band 6 CPNs within the team, overseeing their clinical practice, supporting professional development, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures.


  • Part Remote Working: Enjoy the flexibility of part remote working, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with personal responsibilities while continuing to provide high-quality care.


Requirements:


  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Extensive experience working in child and adolescent mental health, preferably within a community setting.
  • Advanced assessment and risk management skills, with a focus on meeting the unique needs of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing holistic, person-centered care and promoting the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents.
