Job Description
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

As CPD OneStep Lead, you will work across the Twinkl Leaders and CPD team to drive the development of our OneStep (our evidence based CPD) and quality of education CPD (our CPD linked to the Teaching Standards) lines to support educators at every stage of their career from ITT-SLT.
In this role, you will be researching and writing CPD content to meet the needs of leaders in schools and those facilitating ITT and the ECF. You will work closely with the Senior Product Owner-SLT Guild, the CPD Lead and the CPD and The Leaders Team content writers, editors, designers and marketing team.
This role will include developing CPD Thought Leadership at Twinkl, driving research, developing relevant CPD partnerships (for resources and Teachmeets) and working with the CPD segment manager, SLT Guild Lead and CPD Lead to develop our academic positioning for OneStep. Our customers are headteachers, school governors and teachers on their own leadership journeys.
Your weekly activity could include:
creating and maintaining OneStep and quality of education CPD content
directing the strategic vision for OneStep CPD and expansion into ITT and the ECF with support from the Senior PO-SLT Guild and Digital CPD and training Manager.
generating ideas for content to help those who lead;
Developing Thought Leadership for Leaders CPD
demonstrating excellent communication skills with the writers, designers and team members that you collaborate with
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about giving back to the education community and keen to share their expertise with others in their team. Knowledge and experience of senior leadership and ITT/ECF in school is essential.
In this role, you will learn:
To develop strategic leadership of a product within The Leaders Team and Twinkl CPD.
How to optimise resources for SEO purposes
how to work in ‘agile' teams, allowing you to solve problems and change tasks quickly to meet deadlines;
how to collaborate with educational professionals based across the UK through our company focus groups and customer feedback requests;
how to create new products, from the ideation stage to publication

The whole of Twinkl. As this role is so varied, you will be drawing on and learning from experts in their own field across the business
Requirements
To succeed in the role, you will:
be an experienced creator and leader of CPD (ITT-SLT)
have completed primary qualified teacher status: PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent;
have at least 5 years of primary classroom teaching and senior leadership experience after QTS is complete;
a Masters in Education
be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team;
have detailed and up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum in England;
be prepared to confidently work between different IT platforms, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and GSuite (Docs, Slides etc.);
understand the teaching senior leadership community in England, knowing their unique pressures and current educational trends;
have a drive for continuous professional development;
have access to a reliable computer or laptop with a fast broadband speed (if remote) - you will be responsible for maintenance/repairs etc
