Job Title: Experienced Cover Supervisor
Location: CARDIFF Area, Wales
Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, temporary and fixed term available

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in supporting secondary schools across the Cardiff area. Responsibilities:
Supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities to students across a range of subjects and year groups.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive engagement and respect among students.
Support students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth operation and communication during teacher absences.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behaviour, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff members.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced school environment.
Ability to work independently and use initiative to handle unforeseen challenges.
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are desirable but not essential.
