Empowering Learning are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work within Secondary Schools in Lincolnshire to start immediately and to work in a variety of our partnered schools.

Do you have experience in supporting children and assisting with their educational needs and aspirations? Are you seeking your next role within education? Empowering Learning are delighted to be supporting secondary schools throughout Lincolnshire to provide Cover Supervisors to support their schools when teachers are absent and or additional support is required within schools.

The role of a Cover Supervisor would benefit an individual who has previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant within an educational setting or someone who has worked with secondary age pupils within education.

The position of a Cover Supervisor is an ad-hoc position therefore you manage your availability and only work the days that you're available to work. The working hours of a Cover Supervisor mirror the hours of a school day varying between 08:15 to 16:00.

The role:

  • The schools are looking for someone who is passionate about education and supporting learning.
  • Deliver pre-set work to students in any subject across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • You will not be expected to be a subject specialist in any area, however if you have a specialist subject please do make us aware!
  • You will gain valuable experience working with children in a Secondary school setting.
  • This role would be great for someone considering completing their Teacher training.

The successful candidate will

  • Have experience working with Secondary Aged children.
  • Have a passion for supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent.
  • Contribute to the quality of learning for the pupils in their care

Due to the nature of this role and working within a variety of secondary schools, a full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle is advantageous however not essential.
