Cover Supervisor

From February 2024 we are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a number of local secondary schools in Worthing and the surrounding areas. Working as a Cover Supervisor is a great way of getting into to teaching and gives you the experience and confidence in making that first step!
As a Cover Supervisor you will be expected to supervise lessons (with no support) during the short term absence of teaching staff, overseeing the work set by the class teacher, supervising and supporting pupils. You will be expected to cover all classes and all subjects, specialism of these subjects are not necessary.
You must have experience working with children, ideally secondary aged and have the confidence to lead classes on your own. If you drive this will be an advantage as you will going to different schools from week to week.
