Job Description: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth running of the school in the absence of regular teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and managing the behaviour of students during class
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
• Supporting the educational progress of students by promoting a positive learning environment
• Maintaining a safe and orderly classroom atmosphere
• Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure consistency in educational delivery

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a Maths and English GCSE or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in education or related field is a plus
• Previous experience working with secondary school students
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various subject areas and teaching styles
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
