Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operator

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver who will also be responsible for warehouse duties. The primary task will be operating a counterbalance forklift to handle heavy bathroom equipment. In addition to forklift operations, the role will involve various warehouse tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to safely transport heavy bathroom equipment within the warehouse.


• Conduct pre-operational checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning.


• Load and unload materials from trucks using the forklift in a safe and efficient manner.


• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising bathroom equipment in designated warehouse locations.


• Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and stock replenishment.


• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse environment.


• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.


• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and workflow.


• Follow company policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with operational standards.


• Ability to work shift times, with start times from 15:00 to 12:00.

Requirements:

• Valid certification to operate a counterbalance forklift.


• Proven experience in operating a counterbalance forklift, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.


• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.


• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy bathroom equipment.


• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.


• Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.


• Flexibility to work shifts.
