Our client provides a EPC full turnkey service for the development, construction and maintenance for grid scale solar and battery storage projects.Due to growth, there is a requirement for a cost engineer to to join the project services team and will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and reporting the cost of the projects.What you will receive:Annual 10% Bonus Scheme25 days annual holiday + bank holidaysPension schemeMedicash healthcareResponsibilities:Monitoring and analysing costsCooperating and interfacing with project managers to help them meet budgeting goalsWriting reports and presenting information to key stakeholdersDeveloping and adjusting budgetsResearching to find opportunities to reduce expensesEvaluating project requirements to provide vital resources, including financial and human resourcesCollaborating with project managers to create effective budgetsResearching the costs of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipmentCalculate, analyse and modelling cost estimatesRequirements:HNC or equivalent in a technical discipline (engineering, cost, project controls)Relevant experience in the energy, utilities, construction sectorRenewable energy experience is desirableWilling to travelIf you are interested in this role, please apply with your most up to date CV.
