Key Skills and Experience:

  • High levels of data analytic capability with competence and knowledge in 'should cost' modelling.
  • Experience working as an estimating, pricing, or cost analyst in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, fostering close and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support a cost conscious, action-orientated mindset which anticipates and avoids cost hazards as well as delivers cost benefit opportunities.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Cost Analyst?

  • Informing the creation of cost strategies and managing overall delivery of these to meet business requirements.
  • Delivering cost saving opportunities through life as a result of innovative thinking
  • Proposing and presenting cost reductions to senior leaders across the Procurement team
  • Ensuing a clear and rigours understanding of cost numbers such as actuals and forecast is captured and actively managed.
  • Driving high quality opportunity generation through collaboration across the business
  • Undertaking cost evaluation, delivering yearly actionable plans, budgets and estimating new product costs, including market analysis in supporting of Bid team activities
  • Ensuring a co-ordinated approach to cost management by working alongside ither functions to understand customer needs, challenging requirements and identify ad manage risk opportunities.

What are we looking for in our next Cost Analyst?
