Cost Accountant

Within the manufacturing operations side of the business, the company is looking to recruit a strong Cost Accountant.Responsibilities includeManage all inventory accounting across ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards with responsibilitiesAnnual standard cost setting process: Responsible for co-ordinating the year end standard cost roll and inventory revaluation processLead point of contact for all inventory audit requestsReview and approve proposed routing changes and new inventory itemsAssisting the team with the annual budgeting process and other ad hoc queries / projectsWork with finance and operations team to assist in helping to drive savings through analysis on recipe or routing changesExperience requiredCIMA or ACCA qualified is desirable, active studiers with experience will be consideredExperience of finance, within manufacturing operations, in a standard cost environment and showing understanding of manufacturing variances.Cost accounting experience in ERP systemsCandidates from an Audit background will be consideredInterpersonal skillsStrong time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlinesDetail orientated and passionately accurateStrong data interpretation and thriving on finding new ways to do things smarter and fasterAble to deal effectively and communicate well with multiple stakeholdersWFH 2 days a week, Pension, bonus, medical insurance and 25 days holiday + BHKenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
