Corporate Tax – immediate Partner, To £275,000

The sizable full-service London office of this global law firm finds itself in need of additional corporate tax capacity at partner level. Because the areas requiring tax support are so eclectic (and include private equity, M&A, capital markets, debt finance, structured products, real estate, energy, and IP – not to mention indirect tax), there is some scope to tailor the role around an individual’s skill set.
Whilst the tax team will consider an existing partner laterally (and, due to workflow, may do so in addition to this hire), exceptionally, they will also look at a “superstar” Senior Associate or Counsel, perhaps blocked at their current firm by lack of business case, as a day one partner.
This is a skill set hire and, whilst no client following is required, should you have one it would go to quantum.
