Corporate Sustainability Analyst

We are currently in seeking a dynamic Corporate Sustainability Analyst who possesses a comprehensive understanding of assessing and enhancing environmental and social impacts within a commercial framework, coupled with expertise in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in analysing and reporting sustainability metrics for SI Group, while spearheading our progress towards ESG objectives. We're on the lookout for a versatile individual capable of taking ownership of diverse tasks while consistently delivering top-notch results.
Be prepared for occasional travel to our manufacturing sites and participation in conferences and sustainability events.
Responsibilities:
Measure, monitor, and validate metrics outlined in our ESG program.
Collaborate on Eco Vadis/Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive submissions.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills:
Previous experience working on sustainability projects.
Proficiency in Greenhouse Gas principles, GHG accounting, net zero strategies, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, social value metrics, and leading ESG reporting frameworks.
Ability to manipulate large datasets and derive actionable insights.
Competency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Power BI, with an eagerness to adapt to new technologies.
Strong multitasking abilities, meeting tight deadlines, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders.
Design dashboards to monitor sustainability progress.
Provide data support for business needs.
Conduct thorough data analysis and generate insightful reports.
Exceptional prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of presenting complex ideas in a clear, business-friendly manner.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in IT platforms, particularly MS Excel.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and keen attention to detail.
Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
Team player with strong collaborative skills.
Proficient in time management and project management.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
This role will be based on-site in Four Ashes, Wolverhampton.
