Are you an ACA or ACCA Qualified Audit Manager seeking a new and exciting opportunity? We are actively looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Corporate Services Audit Manager in the Birmingham office of an established Accountancy Practice. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to their clients while contributing to the growth and development of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Excellence:Deliver cost-effective, timely, and high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of clients within the Corporate Services department.
- Team Leadership:Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and driven work environment.
- Practice Development:Contribute to overall practice development, with a focus on audit, accounts preparation, and outsourcing work for corporate clients.
- Relationship Building:Establish strong relationships both internally and externally to effectively deliver projects and promote team growth.
- Business Opportunities:Identify and pursue business opportunities, assisting partners with value-added assignments such as business planning, advisory services, and other audit-related matters.
Critical Skills:
- Efficient review and completion of audit and accounts files.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office products.
- Active listening, problem resolution, and idea generation skills.
- Exceptional marketing, networking, and business development skills.
- Proactive management abilities leading to high-performance teams.
Critical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of audit and accounts preparation.
- Corporate taxation expertise.
- Solid understanding of MS Office products.
Qualifications:
- Essential: ACA or ACCA Qualification or equivalent experience.
- Desirable: FCA or FCCA.
Experience:
- Essential: Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience within an audit practice environment.
- Essential: Minimum of 3 years' experience managing staff within a practice environment.
