A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking a Corporate Procurement Specialist to join their team in London.Main purpose of the roleThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the economic and efficient sourcing of products and services across all categories.Key activitiesReporting to the Senior Procurement Specialist to ensure a secure supply to internal customers in the relevant region (London) applying expertise to conclude supplier agreementsCreating lasting and comprehensible value add for Commerzbank in the region within the scope of the objectives of Corporate Procurement and establishing Corporate Procurement as an excellent partner for internal customersOrientation to the strategic objectives of the bank/stakeholders, internal bank guidelines and regulations, and on defined standardsResponsible for all categories of sourcing for procurement projects with medium purchasing volume and medium complexity and risk potentialAssisting in the development of product group strategies, pricing models and negotiation tacticsNegotiation and managing local contracts and supporting local customers in getting the right products, goods and services to fulfil their business needs.
