Job Description
DW Finance Recruitment working in conjunction with Morgan Philips Executive Search.
Our client is a medium sized profitable, high growth, dynamic pan-European Service business. Having recently made a large acquisition, along with their other corporate and strategic activities, they are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager to join their team.
Candidates will likely be CFA, MBA or ACA qualified with experience from a portfolio company of a fund or private equity.
Candidates will have strong financial modelling and data analytics skills, strong power point and presentation skills and a good knowledge of accounting and debt principles. You will be an excellent and effective communicator with a flexible attitude to ad-hoc requests, along with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and prioritise demands.
Job overview:
Valuation and quarterly reporting:
Support the Head of Corporate Finance to maximize shareholder’s value
Oversee the preparation of the quarterly update of the valuation model, including the preparation of valuation bridge analysis reconciling to previous quarters and to the budget
Oversee the preparation of the Reporting pack and Strategic pack for the Senior Leadership Team and the shareholders
Oversee the quarterly update of the Maintenance lifecycle model
Manage the company’s valuation model asset database to ensure that it reflects the current status of the portfolio of rolling stock investments, leases and future growth opportunities to prepare an accurate valuation
Strategic Planning:
Support the business strategic planning cycle
Business partnering to help the business understand how strategic initiatives impact valuation metrics and shareholder return
Monitor the status and the value delivered by the strategic initiatives and projects
Management:
As Corporate Finance Manager will be the line manager for the Corporate Finance Assistant Manager.
