Cook / Kitchen Hand

We have an amazing opportunity for someone who loves cooking to join a well-established and popular caf� in Cockermouth town centre as a Cook/Kitchen Hand.

You will be working with a small and friendly team and assisting the Kitchen Manager with breakfast and lunch orders.

The position will suit someone who loves to cook at home and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Wage is dependent on experience and starts at �11.50 per hour.

Your new job

• Cooking breakfast and lunch orders.


• Assisting with kitchen duties.


• Serving meals to customers.


• Making scones.


• Food preparation.


• Coming up with bold and new menu ideas.

• Confident cook.


• Organised.


• Able to work on own initiative.


• Flexible (they are a 7 day a week business).

Salary and benefits

• �12.50 per hour + (depending on experience).


• 28 days holiday per year (for full time / pro rata if part-time).
