Role: Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Secretary
Location: South West London
Salary: £26k-£33k
My client is at an independent firm that is based in South West London. The firm has a small tight-knit team and are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Secretary to join. This is an opportunity to work in a small and close team, working on a mixture of residential files, including leasehold and freehold sales and purchases, transfer of equity, and remortgages, on properties that range from £400,000 all the way up to multi-million pounds.
The role is for a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Secretary, who has at least one year of experience working in property. The role will be strictly supporting fee-earners on their residential property files. This will include admin tasks, drafting contracts, covering exchanges, doing necessary searches, and drafting completion statements, among other things.
This role is available as the firm are looking to gain an experienced member of support staff who will help assist a Senior Conveyancer as well as the residential team as a whole. This is a good opportunity to work alongside experienced and highly trained Solicitors in order to develop your skills further. There is also potential for training to be given to a successful candidate helping you to qualify in the future if this is of interest, however a training contract/route to qualify is not certain.
Requirements
A degree from a UK University (2:1 and above).
At least one year working in conveyancing at a firm in England.
Experience using case management systems.
Ambitious and hardworking attitude.
