Job DescriptionHere’s what we needAs CRO Director, reporting to our Head of UX and CRO, you will ensure RocketMill delivers exceptional conversion optimisation and experimentation services by leading the CRO activities across a portfolio of client accounts and by spearheading the strategic growth of the service area.You will have experience in managing and inspiring a high performing team, delivering successful programmes of work and driving business value in an agency environment.Your prior experience in this discipline will enable you to craft confident responses to client or agency challenges and you will be able to communicate strategic vision and solutions with clarity.Leveraging your expertise with a range of analytics, testing and insight tools, you will apply analysis, UX innovation, behavioural insights, and technology to enhance our clients’ digital experiences and you will be able to train a team to develop the same skill set.Your commercial acumen will motivate you to drive revenue growth for our clients and for RocketMill - you will be working with the head of dept. to build the agency's CRO portfolio and product offering, creating our future growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive conversion optimisation strategies that meet and exceed client expectations, leveraging data-driven and user centred insights and industry best practice.Identify and execute opportunities to improve RocketMill’s CRO product. This includes how we work effectively with the UX team, how we integrate with other service lines and how we operate with our external build partner.Recruit, mentor, train and lead a team of CRO specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Helping them to achieve their personal development goals and to lead their own accounts.Be accountable for the quality of our CRO services and deliverables implementing initiatives to drive efficiencies and high standards.Deliver and present analysis and audits that employ a range of quantitative and qualitative methods and that result in the identification of relevant and impactful opportunities.Work closely with the UX team to deliver user centred and innovative optimisation design solutions.Empathise with client needs and build strong relationships, ensuring our clients have a clear roadmap of activity that directly contributes to their business ambitions, maturity and objectives.Evaluate and communicate value generated from activity and impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) and conversion metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to clients to track progress and ROI.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and CRO best practices, driving innovation and experimentation within the organisation.Research and develop thought leadership ideas to inspire and educate our client community supporting engagement with our brand.Develop case studies to showcase exceptional, award worthy work.Support RocketMill’s Business Development and Client Leadership teams by creating business cases, proposals, and by pitching the Conversion Rate Optimisation product to potential clients.Build fruitful relationships with technology and industry partners that support our growth.Work with senior counterparts in UX, Analytics, Media and SEO teams to plan and execute integrated solutions.Delegate work as required and ensure quality of work remains of the highest standard across the team.Skills Profile Significant experience working in a senior optimisation role and able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the industry.Ability to evidence experience with a wide range of analysis and research methods used to interpret user needs and behaviour to drive effective ideation for optimisations.You will have advanced analytical, technical, and mathematical skills, enabling you to identify appropriate CRO opportunities and execute analysis with a statistically robust approach.A commercial mindset and understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape.Knowledge across a range A/B test & related technologies and advanced experience with Google Analytics 4.Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Ability to communicate and present effectively to a range of internal and external stakeholders, with varying technical capabilities, will be essential to success in the role.You will recognise the pivotal role experimentation culture plays in modern business and will take pride and joy in keeping your abilities at the forefront of the industry.Ability to identify and articulate valuable opportunities to colleagues and clients.Experience in delivering complex work to time and budget across a team.Excellent written and spoken English.Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Confident and articulate presentation skills.A positive attitude, accountable, approaching tasks with drive, intelligence, and passion.
