Controls Internal AuditorWe're a thriving team passionate about working together to deliver excellence, all in a natural forest environment.Welcome to Center Parcs - the number one choice for short break holidays, employing a team of over 10,000 across Head Office and six separate villages located in the UK and Ireland.CONTROLS INTERNAL AUDITORUp to £28,000 per annumHybrid role with both office and home-workingThis is an exciting new role within our Head Office Finance team.Reporting to the Audit Manager, this role is responsible for helping to ensure a first-class control environment across the whole of Center Parcs. This will be achieved via a mix of trend analysis and control testing.This role will be responsible for identifying irregularities in control completion, helping to conduct investigations into such and support in preparing evidence packs for any formal hearings resulting.This is a Head office role but, with agile working, it is expected that a proportion of time would be based on-village and there is likely to be a degree of travel and overnight stays involved to other villages.HOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working.ABOUT YOUEssential requirements:Experience of a control environmentGood written and verbal communication skills together with analytical mindsetPrevious experience of working within a control environmentFull UK driving licenceDesirable requirements:Previous relevant Audit experienceExperience of financial software packages, including windows based applications and previous exposure to systems implementationABOUT THE BENEFITSCenter Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
