Controls & Automation Engineer - £75,000-£85,000 including Permanent Night shift allowance
A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Controls & Automation Engineer.
As Controls & Automation Engineer,you will be responsible forsupporting the implementation of safe sustainableautomated processes, required to drive CI initiatives within existing processes, play a leading role in the specification of new automated lines or development of assembly cells.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the Controls & Automation Engineerwill be responsible for:
Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant
Directly involved with diagnosing & physically delivering solutions
Provide sustainable automated solutions that communicates performance efficiently with the end user
Daily dialogue with the Production team to ensure clear understanding of the business needs
Develop & maintain process documentation
Develop and implement process improvement strategies delivered through uptime, quality improvements and cycle time reduction
Maintain a grasp on daily performance (OEE) and drive improvements
Lead Continuous Improvement activities across the department
