Contracts & Procurement Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are recruiting for a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer on a contract basis. Please see below further details about this position.
Please note that this role would require office attendance 1 day per week.
The Role of the Contracts Lawyer
To provide expert general and bespoke drafting and advice work across the Contracts & Procurement team
To progress matters such as IT contracts, consultancy contracts, works/JCT contracts, collaboration, Grants, FOI, GDPR and Subsidy Control
The role will include providing legal advice and input in relation to decision-making powers and reports under the Councils Contract Procedure Rules and Constitution
The Person
A Solicitor / Legal Executive / Barrister with a minimum of 12 months PQE
Experienced in dealing with public law procurement and commercial contract
Previous working experience at a local authority would be highly beneficial
