Contracts Manager

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum

Company Branding: A Leading Housing Developer has an exciting new opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join their West Midlands team!

This developer specialises in new build housing across the West Midlands and is renowned for high quality and standards.

Job Duties:

• Oversee multiple traditional housing developments and site teams
• Report directly to the Construction Director
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and agreements
• Monitor health and safety standards
• Provide regular progress reports

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid training
• NVQ Level 7 in Construction Management or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Proven leadership and team management abilities

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with frequent site visits
• Travel within the West Midlands region
