Are you an experienced Contracts Manager ready to join this growing construction company in the South? Our client is a privately-owned construction company who are specialists within ground works, basements and RC frame.They work with a wide range of clients on projects from Leisure centres, Residential, to Health Care and Care homes working with large Tier 1 Clients. Their projects range from 500k to £10M with projects South of England to Bristol and Oxford.Key services include (aren’t limited to):Sheet piling - Ground Water Management - Remediation - Soil Stabilisation - Basements - Temporary Works - Substructures - Deep Drainage - Reinforced Concrete - Post TensioningJob Responsibilities (aren’t limited to):Pre-start planningContinuous live operational support for all labour, plant, material, subcontractor and client needsLead prestart meetings to project team minimum 4 weeks before works commenceComplete budget with labour and plant forecasting, monitor as job progressesProvide continual support for site managers on phone and email when not on siteManage a minimum of 4nr projects at one timeAll contracts to finish ahead of programme with savings on labour, plant, and materialsMove labour, plant & materials between jobs depending on wider business needsOrdering of drainage, concrete and paving must be Contract Manager led, not site manager!Take-offs and deliveries carried out and directed by Contract ManagerSchedule repeat Weekly Progress Meetings with client and our site managementPrepare, issue and amend RAMS and Safe Systems of Works before works commence and as requiredCarry out a safety inspection on every visit, action all findings immediatelyIssue O&M manuals, post pour surveys and cube results to clientProvide any temporary cover on site to any site manager absenceMandatory Weekly meetings at head office for labour and plant resource and planning Requirements:Groundwork backgroundExperience with RCDemonstrate proven experience in a similar roleProven experience of technical knowledge in constructionTemporary Works knowledge and understanding (TWS/TWC)Experience where you have offered support and development to teams and operativesLocation: Site (3-4 days per week) and office address (every Wednesday PM).Role Title: Contracts ManagerHours of work: 45 hrs per week (minimum)Reporting to: Construction DirectorFor further details and the full job description get in touch with me directly!3D Personnel construction employment agency is a leading name in construction recruitment for The UK supplying Professional & Technical, Trades & Labour and Construction Services talent across a broad range of construction sectors.
