Contracts Manager

Job Description
New 2-year contract opportunity (outside IR35) for a Contracts Manager to join an exciting construction project with immediate effect.
Contracts Manager Responsibilities
Ensure consistent, effective management of Contracts group, aligned with objectives.
Provide clear leadership to Contracts team, defining goals.
Manage entire contract lifecycle: drafting, evaluation, negotiation, execution, administration.
Offer commercial guidance on obligations, risks during tendering and contracts.
Monitor contract close-out, extension, renewal.
Lead Change process, advise on quantum, merit.
Guide on contractual claims, implement dispute measures.
Stay updated on legal, commercial changes.
Conduct Contract Reviews for Project Risks.
Offer solutions to minimize risk, maximize opportunities.
Analyze contractual matters, articulate outcomes.
Influence stakeholders for optimal solutions.
Lead on high-risk issues to prevent disputes.
Contracts Manager Required Experience
10+ years' experience as a Contracts Manager in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Power Plants. in contract management (e.g., CPCM).
Experienced in large-scale project contract management.
Skilled in contract negotiations, managing complex contracts and claims.
Proficient in procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
Experienced in dispute resolution and arbitration processes.
Well-versed in HSE standards and contract management compliance.
Contract Manager Application Process
This is a 2 year contract requirement with a start date ASAP; CV's are currently being considered and interviews are taking place from 1st May 2024. The interview process will be 1 stage and candidates will need to be available in no more than 4 weeks in order to be considered.
