Job Description
Are you a seasoned Contracts Manager looking for a fresh challenge? We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Contracts Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of our client's organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of contract management and administration to ensure the successful execution of our projects.
Our client is a £1Bn+ turnover business, renowned for it's family feel and progression opportunities. They operate across the UK and work in a variety of sectors. Our client primarily operates across the commercial, education and health-care sectors. Out and out residential contracts managers will not be considered unfortunately.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial negotiation to final closeout, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
Analyse contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and negotiate contract terms that align with business objectives and comply with legal requirements
Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes promptly to maintain strong vendor relationships
Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management in a tier 1/2 environment
In-depth knowledge of construction and contract law, legal terminology, and industry best practices
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
