Contracts Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for a leading metalwork fabricator based in Manchester. Our client has over 40 years' experience specialising in a wide range of fabrication services.Working Hours/Salary:Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.15pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pmUp to £65k per year dependent upon experience.Company Performance BonusJob descriptionPrimary activities:
* Key customer account management
* Quoting
* Liaising with customers and shop floor to problem solve and resolve queries.
* Manage Client SuccessSecondary activities:
* CAD Drawing
* Purchasing
* Quality Inspection
* Production Management & Continuous Improvement
* Project ManagementOpportunity to quickly progress to a General Manager role.Skills required:
* Confident reading manufacturing drawings (essential)
* Confident in customer communication (essential)
* Commercially minded.
* Experience of sheet metal fabrication - 3 years' experience
* Experience managing a production team and improving efficiencies (preferred)
* Experience of creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings - 1 year' experience
