Reporting to the COO, the Contracts Manager will provide the commercial, contractual and strategic expertise
to support Rovco’s contracts (post award phase), supply chain and logistics
activities.
They will develop and
maintain an agile, effective framework for delivery of the department’s
objectives supported by correct processes and procedures.
They will provide the leadership to develop
and support the supply chain and logistics team. Critical to the role is the development of
strong, collaborative relationships with clients, within the business as well
as across the supply chain. Main Responsibilities Management of all post contract governance Setting up and manage the supply chain function including line management of a buyer and logistics co-ordinator Establish and maintain a framework for post award
commercial and contractual delivery Support post award delivery in commercial and
contractual matters ensuring compliance with the client contract
requirements Assist in maximising commercial opportunities including
the preparation, drafting and negotiation of variations and claims Establish a supply chain function and formulate
and implement a supporting strategy including the correct team, systems,
tools and processes Work with other internal stakeholders to ensure
strong supply-chain relationships are created and fostered and leverage
these to positive effect Establish and lead a system with supporting team,
tools and processes to manage the company’s logistics function to
optimum effect, to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime to the
business Develop and maintain relationships with logistics
services partners Provide strong leadership to the supply chain
management and logistics team, fostering a collaborative and
high-performance culture. Set clear performance expectations, provide
coaching, and facilitate professional development opportunities. Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet
operational needs and objectives. You should apply if you have:Essential:
Bachelor's degree in
Business Management, Law, Quantity Surveying or a related field. A Master's
degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
Strong working knowledge
of UK commercial laws, regulations, and industry standards
Demonstrated experience
in contract negotiation and management
Experience in building a robust supply chain function to
support the planned growth within a subsea services environment Experience leading a supply chain and logistics function
within similar organisations with extremely positive outcomes Solid financial acumen
with the ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions
Proficiency in
identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
Ability to foster strong
business relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to drive
mutually beneficial outcomes
Agility to thrive in a
dynamic business environment and respond to changing business conditions
