Contracts Manager

Basement Contracts Manager Required - Salary - 80k - 100k
- Location - West London My client is looking to hire a contracts manager to report directly to the managing director. My client are Specialists in the more complicated areas of construction, who offer a comprehensive range of contracting services, including fa ade retention and temporary works, basement construction and structural alterations.
Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion Responsible for Construction Programmes and ensuring deadlines are met Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors Meet contractual conditions on performance Review and monitor progress and weekly reports Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences Analyse, manage and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Ensure company standards and quality is being met Reporting directly to company Directors
Requirements
Proven working experience in construction management Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Competent in conflict and crisis management Excellent time and project management skills
